A popular restaurant in Bangalore wished to start food catering for software companies / BPOs etc. IADFAC helped them standardize their cooking processes from hygiene point of view and subsequently trained their food handlers on food safety and hygiene. Today they cater for more than 5 companies.

During one of our hygiene training sessions one of the participants came in late after the short tea break. When questioned on the same, he stated that he went out to cut his nails; indeed reflective of how effective the training was. IADFAC has successfully completed several hygiene training sessions to various food handlers such as servers, cooks, assistant cooks, washing personnel etc. IADFAC ha developed hygiene training modules in Kannada, English, Hindi, Telugu etc. Other languages can also be considered if the requirement arises.

It was absolute alarm in one software company, when one of the employees found a lizard in the pickle. IADFAC was immediately called in and various ‘safe food’ tests were conducted. It was identified that the mishap has occurred due to the negligence of the store keeper who had not secured the lid of the pickle jar.

IADFAC has successfully tested and approved water filtration units for chemical (pesticides) and biological ( E.coli ) claims of a popular brand.

Several varieties of rice were examined for a multinational company and the best variety from the Glycemic index point of view was identified. Today the brand is popular in most of the gulf countries and is doing exceedingly well. The company also got the tests conducted in one of the Government laboratories in Dubai and results declared by IADFAC was found to be within a deviation of less than 5 %.

Efficiency of disinfectant has been tested against pathogens such as E.coli for a Company to demonstrate to its customers.

Challenge studies have been carried out on various shampoo samples involving complicated microbiological procedures.
